It is Hispanic Heritage month. I wanted to talk about this with my kids. Having a Hispanic mother and being half Hispanic myself it is important to me to share that culture with my children. I decided to find a fun craft for us to do and talk about our Mexican Culture around it. We set out to make fun Mexican Folk Art and the kids loved it. This post is part of Multicultural Kids Blog Hop.
What we used:
foil
paper plates
sharpies
What we did:
I wrapped paper plates in foil. Then I set out the sharpeis.
We when got daddy involved today.
We all decided to try and make sunshine faces.
We all enjoyed creating our own face and we learned a little about Mexican folk art too.
