Wooden Bead Name Bracelet

I have been going over big brothers name with him.  Helping him learn to recognize it and spell it.  When I saw these wooden beads at the store I thought it would be fun to make both boys name bracelets.  It would be a fun activity for the kids and a great way to go over their names.  They just loved the finished bracelets.

What we used/ supplies:

craftprojectideas wooden alphabet beads

pipe cleaners

What we did/ how to make:

I found all the letters we needed for the boys names.  I sat the letters out and had my oldest spell his name out.  Once he did that he put them down on the pipe cleaner.  This was great for fine motor skill practice. For my toddler, I spelled his name out for him and went over the letters with him as I did this.  Together we put them on his pipe cleaner.

Both boys loved the bracelets and wore them that afternoon. A simple way to help kids learn their names.
