3 fun ways we played with just a bucket of soapy water

We love water play at my house as I am sure most families do.  This day we went outside with a bucket of soapy water to wash off our window crayons.  This was the first fun thing we did wash the windows.  You might think this is work but we had a blast.  Then the second fun thing for my boy was washing their play house and third and final fun thing was washing their cars!  We also had some bowls of plain water outside too.  My youngest played with these more just splashing and pouring them out.  We love simple fun at our house.  And I love these activities even more when I don’t have to spend a lot of money on supplies.  These activities were done with things we already had.  Go outside and have some fun!

We washed windows first(I asked him to look at me, so he is trying to hide)  Of course I got in there and helped wash the windows off, even though my son didn’t want me to help.  I waited until he had “washed” all of them and went back over them to make sure the crayon was off. It was a few days after we colored outside before we washed it off.
Now on to washing the playhouse or I have now been told it is a fire house!

Last let’s wash the cars.  Big brother has done this several times.  One of the first things we did a year or so ago when he got his fire truck was wash it. He loves water.

They had so much fun with these 3 simple activities:  washing windows, washing their playhouse, and washing their toy cars.  All this fun from one bucket of soapy water!  I am sure lots of people play with water and their kids outside too.  I just wanted to share something we enjoyed.

    My kids have been playing with a bucket of water outside lately, too. They love to give their toy cars and trucks a wash and fill up their squirt guns in it!
