My son loves his sand table(we took his water table and just put sand in it over the fall and winter when it was too cold for water) and he plays with it all the time. He loves it just the way it is but I thought maybe we could add a little extra fun to it on this day. I looked in the kitchen and got out 3 paper cups and filled with dry beans, dry noodles, and jelly beans(this one may not have been the best idea but they did like eating them before we put some in the sand). I thought I could add a little counting in as he filled up his trucks with the beans… and go over colors of the jelly beans. Both boys got to play in it, the youngest not as much, he still likes to eat the sand, yuck! But that’s what my baby does, love him. My oldest does like the added fun and was dying to play in it today but we didn’t make it out there for that today. Maybe tomorrow he will be back in the sand. How do you play with sand?
I had to take the jelly beans out after a while they started trying to eat them out of the sand. Yes there are worse things in the world but didn’t want to encourage it!
Please do come and visit us again. We would love to have you back:-)

Sand play is so much fun. I bet my daughter would have tried to eat the jelly beans out of the sand table too! =)
