Bee Footprint Puppet

If you follow along here on our blog you know we LOVE print crafts!  I love that they can be fun keepsakes and the kids love painting their hands, feet…  Print art does not always have to be about keepsakes and decorations.  Today we made fun Bee Footprint Puppets for playtime.  The kids had so much fun flying their bees around the house.  So many fun ways you could put these bee puppets to use.

What we did/ how to make:

We got out white cardstock and yellow crayola paint to start.  I painted the kids foot and pressed it on the white paper.  We left them to dry.  Once dry, I came back and added black stripes, face, and wings.  Then the kids taped on craft sticks to the cutout bee footprints.

Now it was time to run through the house “flying” their bees.  Sometimes the simple things can bring so much fun to the kids.  These footprint bee puppets could be used to put on a puppet show or used with a fun bee book.  We look forward to finding more ways to enjoy our bee prints.
