Boys will be boys!

I am a stay at home mommy of 2 boys and we are expecting a new baby boy in the fall.    I always wanted boys.  All the dirt, jumping, climbing, trucks, rocks….  It all just seemed so fitting for this once tom boy:-) .  I have enjoyed my boys over the years and look forward to all the fun to come.  They keep me on my toes.  I have my days I want to scream and laugh all at the same time.  No matter what they do I will always love them.  I think most of us feel that way about our kids.

I wanted to share a few photos with you to see the boys behind all the play time on my blog and see they are just typical brothers. And I am just an everyday mom who gets frustrated at times too. Hope the pictures may give you and laugh or a smile:-)  I know my family/friends have been wanting to see some of the other pictures I took that day.  Here they are for you mom….
One day I was wanting to get a picture of them together for a gift.  The older they get the harder it is to get them to sit for a picture that I can see both their faces or without a silly look on them
๐Ÿ™‚  This day was like no other.  I was a little frustrated with them to start and thought I didn’t get the picture “I wanted.”  However, after looking at the pictures I realized I got the pictures I needed.  I caught them for who they are and what is better than that!  These photos made me laugh and my family love them.  My mom said you can see their personalities all over the pictures she saw.  The gifts were a success.

Here are a few of the photos from that day.
They started out wanting to have a truck!  Little brother looking at him thinking I am going to get that, lol.
 Warming up for the camera.
Now they are hamming it up, haha.
The more I asked them to sit still and leave the hats on the more they cut up:-)
I guess the most important part for them was to have fun.

 Big smiles.

Love this one because they are being sweet to each other in this moment and I caught it on camera.  I know my boys love each other but most days its he took this and I had that…  I saw a poster that said something to the effect, that siblings can beat each other up all day but no one else can.  So true!  I have a brother and sister so I can relate.  I did find this quote that seemed fitting.

Siblings are the people we practice on, the people who teach us about fairness and cooperation and kindness and caring – quite often the hard way. Pamela Dugdale
Well I hope you may have gotten a laugh or a smile out of these photos.  And know that my kid’s are just typical siblings.  We are just an everyday family living everyday life.
Note, I think girls are wonderful and I think all siblings probably act the same.

Please do come and visit us again. We would love to have you back.
All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
