Corn Craft From Toilet Paper Roll
After visiting the farm this fall I had corn on my brain. One of the most enjoyed activities at the farm is a giant corn house to play in. We have played in a corn sensory table that is a lot of fun on a small scale but the corn house is awesome. With Thanksgiving fast approaching we set out to make a corn craft. I was not quite sure what to make until I saw the toilet paper roll in my son’s hand. He had been running through the house screaming into it. I was not sure how we would create it but it all came together. In the end we had a simple yet fun corn craft from a toilet paper roll.
Corn Craft From Toilet Paper Roll
Supplies/what we used:
Toilet paper roll, paint, green foam sheets, green construction paper, and glue.
What we did:
First my kids painted the toilet paper roll yellow. We left it to dry. Then later we added fingerprint dots in multiple colors all over the “corn”. Last we glued in green foam or construction paper to the inside of the toilet paper roll. Now we had an easy and cute corn craft.
We have used these as decoration for the Thanksgiving holiday. I have also considered turning them in to party favors for my kid’s class parties. I stuffed a pack of fruit snacks down the toilet paper tube and it fit just right. This would make a cute corn party favor for class parties.
