Have you heard about Targets new Toy Emporium online only! The Toy Emporium online is focused on quality toy brands available at Target. Visit the Target Toy Emporium (found only online) for details regarding specific brands and the six themes designed to engage children in these areas: Explore, Discover, Active, Imagine, Create, and Build. Some brands that are part of the emporium are available in-store, though there are many that are only available online. My kids already loved their toy department and I know they will love it even more now with the new additions. We could not wait to check out the new toys in the create and build section. This department now has the best brands for us to choose from.
Create Fun Faces with Magna-Tiles
It did not take us long to head over to our local Target to check out all the building toys. We got lucky that the toys we wanted could be found in stores and online. We have had Magna-Tiles on our to buy list forever! Big brother 5.5yr has been begging for them for a few years now. Today seemed like the perfect day to buy them.
We found the Preschool Building section with great ease. The aisle signs are clear and easy to spot. The kids went running when they saw the Magna-Tiles.
We chose one set of the Magna-Tiles and could not wait to come home and open them up!
Now that we had one of the best building and creating toys out there, we could not wait to put them to use. Creating fun faces with them was first on our list. Using our imaginations and creativity is a big deal to me. I want my kids to express themselves in play.
Building with blocks is great for:
problem solving
creative thinking
and improving motor skills.
They can also be used for color sorting, counting, subtracting, and stacking.

When playing with blocks or building toys together it is a great time to work on teamwork. This is also a great time to go over the shapes of the tiles.
Little brother 3yr built many garages for his little cars.
Big brother developed a lantern. He put a little battery operated light inside his magna-tiles to carry around in the dark.
I just love that these toys are “Toys your kids will love. Value they won’t outgrow. Brands you don’t expect.”
