Cucumber Melon Playdough recipe- how to make
I love making new scents of playdough almost as much as the kids love to play with it! With Earth Day coming up I wanted to make blue and green playdough for them to play. I made them blueberry playdough and was unsure what to do for the green one. After a little thought I went with Cucumber Melon.
I must say I absolutely love this scent and think it is now my new favorite. Sorry Apple Playdough you have been replaced. haha
I have one favorite playdough recipe and then I just mix up the colors and scents. The recipe is here.
Cucumber Melon Playdough recipe- how to make
To make it cucumber melon you just add neon green food coloring( a lot) and cucumber melon scent( we got this scent when we made our dino egg soap). We got it online from bulk apothecary . This site is full of soap making supplies and lots of great scents that you can use in playdough.
My tot and I had fun playing with the new playdough. We even got baby brother in on the action. Baby brother got to put his toes in the playdough. Boy did he smile. He thought it was a neat experience and loved that we included him in the fun.
As always I hope you can have fun with this idea too.
