Favorite Grilled Corn Recipes
This post brought to you by Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine.
So have you ever felt like you were the last one in the world to try something? I sure did when it came to grilled corn. I am pretty sure it has been around forever but until last summer I had never tried it. Why had I not made or eaten grilled corn? I have no clue! One sunny summer day last year I asked my husband to go out and get us some corn on the cob at the store. When he got back I insisted that we try it on the grill. I would no longer be denied. I am so glad that we are no longer in the dark. We are now big fans of grilled corn.

Favorite Grilled Corn Recipes
With spring in the air and summer right around the corner I have been thinking about outside mealtime on the grill. We just love how easy it is to go to Dollar General and pick up an AmeriGas® {For more information you can visit http://content.dollargeneral.c….} tank for the grill. “Because you can’t call it grilling without AmeriGas®.” We also love saving a few dollars. With this $3 OFF coupon available when you purchase or exchange AmeriGas® propane tanks at Dollar General that is just what we can do, save money. With 3 small kids every dollar counts over here. Now that we have our gas tank ready for grilling the first thing that is going on it this year is, you guessed it, corn on the cob. I picked up a few ears of corn at the grocery store for us to grill. The kids always get so excited to eat corn but they too are hooked and always prefer it on the grill over any other method of cooking. I do not blame them, this stuff rocks.
So now for our simple, yet favorite, corn on the cob recipes.
Grilled Corn With Garlic Butter
What you need:
gas grill
ears of corn
butter
garlic
salt
pepper
What to do:
Leave the corn in the husk and place on the grill. Cook for 15-20 minutes at medium heat. All grills are different so your cook time may vary. While the corn is cooking, take the butter and melt in the microwave. Then take garlic powder or fresh garlic cut up, salt, and pepper and mix together. Then mix the two together. Once the corn is cooked, let cool a few minutes before unwrapping. Once unwrapped, brush or drizzle on the melted butter sauce. Now you have one of our favorite grilled corn recipes.

Black Bean and Grilled Corn Dip
What you need:
Grilled corn cut off the cob
Can Black Beans (drain a little)
Shredded cheese (any kind you like)
What to do:
I had already covered our grilled corn in the butter sauce before we cut it off the cob. I then mixed it with the can of black beans. Then add in the cheese. Last, grab a bowl of corn chips and enjoy a fun snack or meal. This recipe could be fun to add other ingredients to as well. My husband wanted to add a can of rotel but we did not have any on hand.
Oh, the possibilities are endless for grilled corn and we look forward to a summer of finding new and tasty ways to eat it. We also look forward to keeping our AmeriGas® propane tank ready for use all summer long. What are your favorite grilled recipes?

We love grilling in general but have never tried corn. I am sure the butter garlic sauce is awesome.
