Get the kids excited about soccer and healthy smiles

Do you have a soccer fan at your house! Or a kid that loves brushing their teeth! I have both, lol. Big brother has started to get into soccer and already asked if he can play next year. And all 3 of my boys love toothbrushes and chewing gum. I started them early cleaning their gums and we go to the dentist at a year old. Oral health is important to me. It is not only important for my kids to have a healthy smile, but all kids to have a chance for one too. I love that Trident supports Oral Health America’s Smiles Across America for the past 10 years. They have donated over $2,000,000.00. This give healthy smiles to underserved kids. Trident is pairing up with soccer star Alex Morgan to bring you a fun giveaway today in hopes to raise awareness about oral health! My favorite part is that for the week of September 15th for every pack of Trident gum that is sold a donation will be made (up to $200,00) to Smiles Across America.
Soccer drills for kids are great for gross motor skills. I gave the kids an incentive to do well on the drill and they could pick out new toothbrushes and Trident gum. Getting the kids excited about soccer and healthy smiles was a hit at my house.
Get the kids excited about soccer and healthy smiles
With big brother’s interest in soccer, I set him up with a fun gross motor soccer drills to let him practice.
What I used:
plastic cones
soccer ball
What we did:
I set the cones in a line with a little room between each one. I then showed him how to kick the ball through the spaces. He worked on ball control. After playing this way for a while we moved on to the best part, just kicking the ball in the yard. Great gross motor skills activity for the kids.
Alex Morgan is an Olympic Gold Medalist and part of the National Woman’s Soccer League. Like us, she not only loves soccer, but a healthy smile too. She has some great tips for oral health.
1. Brush teeth twice a day, for at least 2 minutes each time.
2. Floss
3. Visit a Dentist on a regular basis
4. Chew Trident Sugar Free Gum
5. Smile confidence is everything
We love Trident has many flavors from Spearmint to Tropical Twist. Chewing Trident for 20 minutes after eating and drinking can help protect and clean teeth. Fun fact: Trident was the first sugar free gum in the US.

My daughter loves soccer! We’ll have to try this gross motor activity! Love that they got new toothbrushes as the incentive too! 🙂
My kids love soccer AND going to the dentist! My dentist won’t officially see them until 2, but we do spot checks at our appointments before then! Great post!
This is awesome! So glad to know about Trident. My daughter is really wanting to try gum and I think trident will be a great option. Thanks for inspiring us to get out and move this morning!
Our dentist recommended Trident between meals when we can’t brush (much to my preschooler’s delight)!
Your son is so cute kicking that ball — what a great giveaway, Jaime!!
