Ice Cream Date Night

My husband and I love finding fun and simple ways to have in home date nights.  Watching movies or having dinner are usually our go to home date ideas.  With summer here and the sun staying out a little while after the kids go to bed we decided to enjoy an Ice Cream Date Night on the deck.  Enjoy the sun and some of our favorite ice creams!  Just finding a little time for us after the kids go to bed is great for us.  We look forward to more ice cream date nights this summer.

 

Ice Cream Date Night

 

We love Klondike bars.  Did you know they have 12 varieties?  This is great because my husband and I always want a different flavored ice cream.  Now we can have an ice cream we love in our own favorite flavor.  They have new Cookie Dough Swirl, as well as Heath, REESE’S, Mint Chocolate Chip, Krunch, Caramel Pretzel, OREO, Dark Chocolate, Rocky Road, Double Chocolate, Neapolitan, and Original.  Klondike bars are available nationwide.  I went for the Cookie Dough Swirl and he chose the Heath for this date night.

In 2014 Klondike® Kandy Bars launched. They are the perfect combination of candy, ice cream, and chocolate coating. They are available in new Mint Fudge Cookie, as well as Caramel & Peanuts, Fudge Krunch, and Cookies & Cream. We have tried many of the new bars but still have a few more to try.  Giving us good reason for another ice cream date night.

 

You can get the Klondike Bars in six-packs and the Klondike Kandy Bars in four-packs. I love that they are found at grocery stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99.  Easy to pick up while grocery shopping and at a good price.  We could not go out for ice cream that cheap. With 3 small kids saving money on in home date nights is great.  We still get to enjoy each other and save a few dollars. That’s a  few dollars for swim classes and diapers.

 

 

I love simple!  After a busy day with the kids, a no fuss setup for an ice cream date night was a must.  A simple tray with a salty snack and our ice cream bars went outside with us.  We sat on the deck enjoying our treats and just talking.  We look forward to more date nights and ice cream.
