Ice cubes and water balloons
If you follow my blog I think you know we love water play. Not only is it great for our hot days but it is an activity both my preschooler and toddler enjoy together. For this day I just set out water balloons for my oldest, ice cubes for both of them, our squirters from the dollar tree, and two bottles that squirt. We had our plastic pool set up for them to play as well. One fun afternoon of water play to stay cool.
My 3 1/2 yr old loves the water balloons.
He is now able to throw them and they pop.
My toddler checking it all out and then got in the ice cubes:-)
Ice cubes and water are great sensory play materials. They are also cheap and easy.
We added the balloons, ice cubes, and plastic ice cubes ( I got these at the Dollar Tree also) to the pool.
They ended up in a bowl too.
Now mommy was in the pool and since daddy was home he got a picture of big brother and I squirting each other, lol. We had fun!
Of course they had to bring a truck to play too.
Hope you and your family will have some easy water play fun outside too.
