I love when my baby sister asks me to write a story for her blog. I have shared DIY laundry soap and DIY hand scrub.Today I will share one of my sweeter passions. Baking sweet treats. I find peace and enjoyment when I bake. I love to get my Kitchen Aid out and make new recipes.
My kids always say I should open up a bakery one day. Right now they just enjoy cookies and cupcakes as a surprise treat sometimes after school. I came across this simple Key Lime Cake recipe a few years back and I just made it again the other day. If you like lemon and lime as much as I do you must try this recipe from Betty Crocker. It’s easy and delicious. I followed the recipe and didn’t have any issues minus I made it in a bunt cake pan this time. Either way taste great. But sometimes I don’t have the extra time to make and frost cupcakes. Also you can leave out the glaze if you want. The glaze adds an extra tart lime kick. I enjoy it either way.
