How to make Kool-Aid Playdough:
Add all of the above ingredients in a sauce pan and mix well. I cook mine on medium-high heat. You want to keep stirring while it cooks. Once the playdough is starting to form dough it does get hard to mix but keep at it. My spoon will eventual stop mixing and I can pick the dough up with my spoon stuck in the middle. This is how I know it is done. I place on a plate or wax paper while it cools.
Once it was cooled I placed it on a tray with a few simple things. I had heart shaped buttons, confetti, heart cookie cutters, and plastic hearts.

They sat down and started cutting out hearts and decorating them.
This was a good time to go over colors and shapes with my youngest. So glad the kids had a great time playing with the kool-aid playdough. We will make this more often.
