Noise Makers/Sensory Bottle

Are you looking for a fun and easy way to get the kids moving.  Here is how to make noise makers or sensory bottles that the kids can use while dancing.  We made these during the end of the year for New Years, but we play with them often.  It is always fun to get them out and turn on the music and just dance!

What we used/supplies:

plastic bottles( crayola water bottles)

colored rice

sequins

gift ribbon

hot glue( I did this part)

What to do

make colored rice- directions here

have the kids pour the rice into the bottles with a funnel

put the lids back on and hot glue

tie on the ribbon

Now the fun starts.  Once the hot glue is dry, grab your music/noise maker and start rocking out.  The kids and I always have fun dancing around.  And I haven’t met a kid yet that didn’t love the chance to get loud.  Even for the children that might enjoy the quiet, these make great sensory bottles just for the kids to look at.  Just turning the bottle upside down and watching the rice fall is fun. I hope you and your kids can have some fun with this too.
