Playdough Creatures and even more fun playdough play links for you
We love playdough at our house as many do. I know I have seen playdough monsters and other fun Halloween creations all over my fb page and pinterest. The one things that is special about our creatures to me is that my son doesn’t look at pinterest and has never made/or seen a Halloween creature before. So this was his first time making fun Halloween creatures and he made Halloween cookies too. We both had lots of fun playing wit the playdough this day.

What you need:
playdough (we used homemade orange playdough we had. Store bought playdough is good too.), Halloween sparkles(we got ours at Walmart), pipe cleaner, googly eyes, small popsicle sticks, and fun Halloween plastic pieces( we got ours at Dollar Tree).
What to do:
Set out playdough and extras on a tray and start creating.
He played a while with the playdough and before long he had piled almost everything he had on one big blob of playdough. His very own creature. Perfect activity for fine motor skills. And great sensory play too.
I think his favorite part was seeing if he could fit everything he had in front of him on the playdough, lol.
He also had cookie cutters out and a rolling pin. He went and got a few play plates out of his kitchen. He then made Halloween cookies. This is one of them.
Here are 2 of our creatures: mommy’s on the left and my preschoolers on the right. I think playdough is such a great way for kids to use their imaginations. And what fun we had imagining up these creatures. We hope you can have some playdough fun too.
