Q-Tip Shape Paintings
We did q-tip or cotton swab paintings a few years ago for Valentine’s Day. The kids really enjoyed it but we have yet to try it again. No better time than now, right. I decided to set them up with some Q-tip Shape Paintings. A fun way to go over our shapes and have fun painting too. The kids really enjoyed getting the q-tips out again.
Q-Tip Shape Paintings
What we used:
yellow construction paper(because we are almost out of white)
sharpie
paints from craftprojectideas.com that they sent us in a goodie box(thanks CPI)
Q-tips or cotton swabs
What we did:
I drew a bunch of shapes on the yellow paper. I sat out the paints and q-tips on the table. I then let the kids paint the shapes.
They made some dots and then swirled the paint around too. They were having fun while painting.
I went over the shapes with them Big brother 5yr already knows them but it was great for little brother 3yr. We also went over the colors of the paints.
Painting is always a hit at my house. We hope you can enjoy this too.
