Stress-Free After School Snacks

 

Not only is breakfast time on my mind with school starting soon but also after school snacks. I know I can find what I need at one of my favorite stores. I love shopping at Walmart for great values and selection. I look forward to stress-free after school snacks. Once all of the kids are home and hungry, things can get a little out of control fast.  But with these State Fair®  Classic Corndogs and Jimmy Dean®  I can tame their hunger and get everyone ready for homework… Stress-free after school snacks helps me get more time with the kids to enjoy a walk or story time in our afternoon.

 

 

 

Stress-Free After School Snacks

 

While on one of our shopping trips to Walmart we picked up our State Fair®  Classic Corndogs, a few dips and Jimmy Dean® Pancake & Sausage .

 

 

 

It is easy for me to get stressed out when the kids are complaining about being hungry after school.  My tips for not stressing are to have a quick snack idea ahead of time.  So once you make it home or the kids get off the bus you can get their snack ready without much thought. I also try to give the kids a few tasks to buy me time to get the snack ready.  For example:  hang your backpack up, take off your shoes, wash your hands… Making the snack simple and fun is a plus.

 

 

Corndogs and Pancake & Sausage are so yummy by themselves but I thought the kids would get a kick out of an easy corndog and Pancake & Sausage dip bar.  So I set up a fun tray with several dips for them to taste with their corndogs and another one for the Pancake & Sausage.

 

 

 

 

The State Fair®  Classic Corndogs and dip bar was a hit with my kids!  They also enjoyed the Jimmy Dean® Pancake & Sausage dip bar too. Not stressing while I was getting their snack together was so great.  Knowing what I would make them ahead of time saved me a lot of frantically searching for what to feed them.
