Turkey Paper Bag Puppet
For us, Thanksgiving is our next fall holiday! I love spending time with my family for a great meal on Thanksgiving day. Not that we ever need an excuse to get together for a meal. As much as I enjoy spending time with my entire family I absolutely adore my time I spend with my little guys crafting, playing, cooking for holidays. I hope they grow up with great memories to look back on. The other day I was staring at a pack of foam leaves in my office while working too. I had an idea to let the kids create turkey paper bag puppets with them. Easy to make and fun for the kids to play with or use as decoration. If you have a large group of kids over for a Thanksgiving meal this could be a fun activity to keep them busy.
Turkey Paper Bag Puppet
Supplies/what we used:
- paper bag
- foam leaves
- orange and red cardstock paper
- googly eyes
- glue stick
- scissors
How to make a paper bag turkey puppet:
I started by cutting out beaks, feet, and snoods for the kids craft. I then let them have the supplies. They glued on the leaves as feathers on the back of the bag. Next they glued on the snood and beak. Now they added the googly eyes. Last they glued on the turkey’s feet.
Now we had cute and fun turkey paper bag puppets to play with.
