You Are A Super Friend Care Package Random Act of Kindness
Inspired by Coffee Cups and Crayons and Toddler Approved to bring you a Random Act of Kindness kids can do. They are hosting a 100 days of Kindness again this year and asked fellow bloggers to join in and share some kindness with others. Today I will be sharing just one fun way the kids decided to show their best friends how special they are. They packed and sent them You Are A Super Friend Care Package as a Random Act of Kindness. They hope these little care packages brighten their friend’s day when they open them up. I enjoyed watching their excitement as they packed up these boxes for their friends. With Valentine’s Day coming up I thought these care packages could also serve as an extra special Valentine for their closest friend. We had fun showing kindness to our friends. Thanks for inspiring us Megan and Kristina.
You Are A Super Friend Care Package Random Act of Kindness
What we used/supplies:
Flat rate box from post office ( You can get boxes or large envelopes at most stores. They will work too.)
Superhero items (Went shopping at the dollar store one afternoon and found many fun items.)
What we did:
I had to go into the post office to pick up something. I grabbed the smallest flat rate boxes for this project. We had already decided to send best friend care packages and these boxes looked great. A few days later I had to run into the dollar tree so we looked for some superhero items for their friends. Now all we had to do was pack them up.
One rainy afternoon we sat down and went through the items we bought and taped up the boxes. The kids helped pack them up. Both the older boys have a best friend from school. Little brother is still in school with his buddy but Big brother and his best buddy are no longer at the same school. Being able to pack his friend a care package was a really big deal for big brother. Little brother had fun packing his friend’s up too because he loves superheros. He can not wait for his friend to open up this box.
I think these care packages could be great for family too. We have a lot of long distance family. The boys have cousins about their age. I can see us doing this again with a family twist. No matter who you are sending it to, send a care package today to someone special in your life.
