We are getting excited about Halloween coming up. Did you know Americans of all ages celebrate the paranormal activity and mystery of Halloween – in fact, 34 percent of people attend or throw Halloween parties. I have been brainstorming treat recipes for my kid’s Halloween class parties. I know Hershey helps families harness the magic of Halloween by sharing new and classic treats that help transform any Halloween party from normal to paranormal. So I picked out some of our favorite candies I could use in a recipe. Seasonal favorites from Hershey include chocolate assortment variety bags with a little something for everyone, Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins, Kit Kat® bars and Cadbury Scrème Eggs. Yay, Kit Kat® bars would be perfect for Halloween Kit Kat® Brownies.
Kit Kat® Brownies Recipe
Ingredients/what I used:
Halloween Kit Kat® bars- just love the orange color
brownie mix- I used a box mix
eggs
oil
water
How to make Kit Kat Bar Brownies:
First I made the brownie batter as the box directed. I took a 9X9 pan and greased the inside of it. I had already preheated the oven. I poured half the brownie batter in the pan. I had the kids help unwrap the candy bars for me. I placed 10 Kit Kat® bars on the mix. I then poured the rest of the brownie mix over the Kit Kat® bars.
Bake as directed. Mine baked at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Once the Kit Kat® brownies were done, I left them to cool. They smelled amazing! I made this batch to test out before I had to make my final treat for my kid’s class parties. These will make the perfect sweet treat to take to school to share with their classmates.
I still have more candy and ideas on how we can use them. So glad Hershey helps families harness the magic of Halloween by sharing new and classic treats that help transform any Halloween party from normal to paranormal. These Kit Kat® brownies are sure to be a success at the class party. Nothing but 2 thumbs up from my kids and husband. And of course I love these treats too.
