Super Fun Candy Games
These candy games are a fun way for the kids to play and fill up their own treats bags along the way. We picked up some fun mini popcorn buckets to use as our treat bags. As the kids go game to game they can added their prizes to their bag.
Fun Candy Games for Kids:
1. Hershey’s Kisses Tic Tac Toe
This is a classic game with a fun twist. My kids got really excited to play with the kisses as their x’s and o’s. I took a pieces of white cardstock paper and drew 2 lines down and 2 lines across with a marker. Then I filled little buckets with the kisses and set it out for the kids to play with.
2. Twizzlers Hot Potato
The wrapped Twizzlers are a great choice for this game. Take one small pack of Twizzlers from the party mix bag to use for the game. Have the kids sit in a circle and start some music. Have the kids pass the Twizzlers down to the kid sitting beside them. They continue to pass until the music stops. The person with the candy is out of the game. Once there is only one child left they win the game and the Twizzlers!
3. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Miniatures Candy Toss
I thought it would be so much fun to set up one using the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Miniatures . I got 3 tin buckets and set them up one behind the other on the floor. I filled a plastic dish with the candies. The kids got 3 tries. If they got the candy in the bucket they could keep it.
4. Guess How Many Candies in the Jar
Fill a glass jar with the Birthday Cake Hershey’s Kisses. Be sure to count them first. Let each child guess how many candies they think are in the jar. Write down the child’s name and number guessed on a sheet of paper. At the end of the party the child that guessed the number closest to the number of candies in the jar wins. They get to take home the jar of candy.
5. Candy Bar Stacking Game
Take the bag of Hershey’s Assorted Miniature candy bars and fill up a bucket or bowl with the candies. Let the kids stack the candy bars one on top of another. For our game we want to stack more than 5 candy bars to win the game. My kids really enjoyed this easy game idea.
6. Jolly Rancher Soft Chew Suck Up Game
This is another super fun candy game for kids. To start set out 2 paper plates and a few straws. Let each kid have their own straw to use and trash or keep when they are through with the game. Add a few soft chew Jolly Rancher on one plate. Let the kids have as many tries as it takes to suck up the candies with the straw and transfer them to the next plate. Once they complete the transfer they can keep the candies as their prize.
7. Twizzlers Nibs Building Challenge
Place several packets of Twizzlers nibs candy on a table with toothpicks. Invite the kids to a building challenge with these 2 materials. I loved seeing the different things the kids made. Anyone that attempts to build something wins an unopened pack of candy. This is a fun STEM game for kids.
8. Jolly Rancher Chopstick Pick Up Game
Put a paper plate on the table with hard Jolly Rancher candies on it. Give the kids chopsticks. See how many candies they can pick up and place on another plate in one minute. The candy they move to the next plate is their prize.
9. Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Spoon Relay Race
Have Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies and spoons ready for this game. For example, have 3 kids stand on one side of the room and 3 on the other side. The first set of kids will place one candy on a spoon and hold it out in front of them. They will walk across them room to the kid in front of them. When the kid gets there they will give the other kid the candy to walk back across the room. The first team to cross back will win.
10. Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Scoop Up Game
Fill a bowl or bucket with candies. Put an empty bucket beside the candy bucket. Give the kids 1 minute to see how many candies they can transfer to the empty bucket with a spoon. Only thing is they can not use their hands. The candies they transfer they can keep.
