We are gearing up for some bug fun over here this summer. To start we tried a few fun and easy fingerprint bug crafts. My kids get so excited when we get the paint out. They also love bugs, or, at least big brother does. Little brother is not so sure about the real ones, hehe. Play bugs and craft bugs are fun for both of them. Simple yet cute fingerprint bugs was a fun project for both my 3 yr and 5 yr .
Fingerprint Bugs
What we used:
white paper
sharpies
crayola paint
What we did:
The kids made fingerprints on the paper. We left them to dry over night. The next day I drew on them with the sharpie to give them a “bug look”.
Easy and fun! I was inspired by this pin to try these cute little bug prints out.
Now we hope you can have fun making bugs with your kids too.

All kids are different and only you can decide how you let your kids play. And with what materials you let them play with. My children are supervised when playing. Please keep this in mind with any post you read of mine!
