I love my son and I am always happy to spend time alone with him.  I am a stay at home mom but with another toddler to chase after it is hard to just really enjoy my oldest as much  as I would like to sometimes.  We both enjoy our time we spend together alone. We do a lot of activities, playtime, and crafts when younger brother naps.  I do love my baby boy too and enjoy all our time we spend together when big brother is at school.

What we did this morning for about 20 min before daddy left for work was go over to the woods and “hunt” for rocks.  It was nice just listening and talking to him and what fun he did have getting dirty while gathering rocks. Any time you can spend with your kids no matter what you are doing is priceless and will impact their lives forever.

Oh, so many rocks which one first!  This is a great way to get kids moving.  Also a great way to get outside and enjoy nature.  We now have a growing collection of rocks.

I love that all  you need to have a rock hunt adventure is your kid, a bucket, and a few min’s of your time.  We had a lot of fun!
