Scissor Skills Activities and Crafts for Kids
Getting to finally cut with a pair of scissors has always been a big deal at my house. Something about them just gets my kids excited. Using scissors is often harder than it looked to my kids. Finding fun ways to work on scissor skills with them has helped them improve those tiny hand muscles they need to cut up paper, straws, foam… While they are cutting and having fun they really are working to master and improve a new skill. We often take what they have cut up and turn it into arts and crafts or sensory play. Scissor skills is a task for kids to master and we like to have fun along the way.
